What is it: Whenever a New Issue of CERA Journal is out in print, Email Alert … will immediately notify you through Email that such a CERA issue is out. This service will also provide you with a hypertext URL address that you can click to view its full contents.

The following is the process for signing up for Email alert service. By signing in, you will be automatically notified – meaning you will be sent an automatic email whenever a new issue is posted online. This is great for those professional and readers, who are busy and have no time to search for new developments. The following provide some simple directions for you set up an e-mail alert. Follow these steps:

1. Open a recent version of Internet Explorer or Netscape
2. Type the URL http://techpub.metapress.com and hit enter
3. Type in your User ID and Password.
4. When you successfully log-in you will see a welcome note on the right side of the screen. In the box below the welcome you will see the word "alerts" highlighted in blue.
5. Click on the word "alerts" highlighted in blue.
6. Click the blank box to the left of CERA journal title -- to be alerted with. Use the blue arrows at the bottom of the list to look for CERA Journal from the list of journals.
7. After you have selected CERA Journal, click the OK button.
8. This will cause you to be sent an email when a new issue of CERA Journal is posted online. You do not have to go back to the web site unless you want to turn off the alerting.
